About Second Harvest North Central Food Bank

The Second Harvest North Central Food Bank collects, stores and distributes food to more than one hundred and forty-five hunger-fighting programs and agencies in Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Itasca, Koochiching, Kanabec and Mille Lacs counties in north central Minnesota.

They operate an on-site food shelf, the Grand Rapids Food Shelf. The food shelf is open from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon on Friday. There are extended hours from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM on the first Tuesday of the month.
